Dr. Kelley has been utilizing laser dentistry since 2005. As a member of the World Clinical Laser Institute (WCLI), he is continually integrating new advances in laser and other dental technology into his practice. Currently, Dr. Kelley uses the Waterlase MD™ Turbo Dental Laser, one of the only lasers the FDA has approved for hard and soft tissue procedures. The efficient device helps the dentist to produce optimal results, while at the same time enhancing patient comfort. Lasers also assist in the early detection of cavities, the placement of tooth-colored fillings, the removal of amalgam fillings, and in other procedures involving the delicate tissues of the mouth. Dr. Kelley also uses laser dentistry to improve the function of the tongue in children who are “tongue-tied” and display a speech impediment.
