Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers, sometimes referred to as “instant orthodontics,” are tiny tooth-like shells that are custom fabricated to fit snugly over chipped, cracked, broken, discolored, or otherwise flawed front teeth. Using a state-of-the-art digital imaging system, Dr. Kelley takes optical impressions of the teeth, designs your smile transformation, and shows you what the results will look like before even beginning treatment. Then, impressions of your teeth are sent out to a laboratory, for the veneers to be custom crafted. Dr. Kelley preps the tooth, then simply places and bonds the veneer over the tooth with special dental adhesive. The result is a picture-perfect, stunning smile. Veneers are also strong and durable for long-lasting results.
Teeth Whitening

Teeth typically lose their brilliant white color for a number of reasons, including age, trauma, or excessive coffee, tea, soda, or wine consumption. Fortunately, teeth whitening is a simple cosmetic procedure that can make a dramatic difference in your smile. Dr. Kelley administers extra-strength, in-office Zoom!® teeth whitening treatment to greatly improve discolored or badly stained teeth. The teeth are first coated with the bleaching gel, and then a special light is applied to the teeth for up to 30 minutes. Once the substance is rinsed away, you will notice that your teeth are up to eight shades whiter, and stains are either substantially lightened or completely gone. Dr. Kelley may recommend a second treatment or provide you with an at-home whitening kit, depending on your individual needs.
Porcelain Crowns
Porcelain dental crowns are tooth-like caps that are placed over badly damaged or decayed back teeth. Not only do porcelain crowns look natural and beautiful, but they also restore the strength and functionality of the teeth. Porcelain is strong and durable, and therefore long lasting. Porcelain crowns can be administered within a single office visit thanks to advanced CEREC® technology. Impressions of the teeth are taken digitally, and the customized restoration is crafted while you wait. Patients love seeing their restoration be created right before their eyes! The one-day process also eliminates any risk of infection or sensitivity since a temporary cap is not necessary. The crown is then cemented onto the clean, decay-free tooth. Results are always natural looking, and patients are sure to be pleased with their healthy, gorgeous smile.

Dental Bridges
A dental bridge, also known as a fixed partial denture, is a solution for replacing up to three missing teeth in a row. The bridge consists of two dental crowns connected to one or more artificial teeth. The crowns are placed over the natural, surrounding teeth or a dental implant, and the prosthetic teeth fill the open space. Dr. Kelley prides himself on his ability to provide natural-looking, beautiful results. Cosmetic dentistry procedures performed at our Troy dental practice allow patients to enjoy beautiful and healthy smiles for a very long time.
